The SV-99 sniper rifle chambered for 5.6 mm. rim-fire round is designed for special operations and sniper training at a distance up to 100 m.

It features a crank lock that makes it possible to shoot fast.

The rifle is fed from a 5 or 10 round plastic magazine.

The SV-99 is equipped with a silencer and a safety lock.

On the receiver there is a dove-tail optical sight mounting rail.

The stock is of special design with a flexible joint to quickly detach the buttstock from the forearm. The stock is symmetrical - for comfortable shooting both with the right and left hands. It's possible to adjust buttstock length, arm support position and cheek rest by length and height. Carrying sling swivels make it possible to fix the sling both from the right and left side of the stock. In the front part of the stock there is a fixture for quickly attachable bipods. In the buttstock there is a rear leg adjustable by height, designed to ensure stable position of the rifle during long-term observation of a target by a sniper. In travel position the rear leg folds in the buttstock and does not increase its overall dimensions.

The rifle is compact and fits a special case-backpack, when dismantled.
